Speaking aloud about difficult emotions, about invisible convulsions of the heart – is not easy. In fact, it is a very difficult art that only a few have mastered…. What about me? No, I don’t think so. 🙂 My language is Polish, so I wonder: is easier to express absolutely sincere, painful emotions in a foreign language…. ? I’m checking it out.
P.S. Scientific research shows that when we use a foreign language, our decisions and judgments may be shaped differently than when we use our native language. I reached for the work of moral psychologist dr hab. Michał Białek from the University of Wrocław / Poland, who, as part of a grant from the National Science Centre, studies the so-called foreign language effect.
